Privacy Notice (KVKK)
Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data

Data Controller
This notice has been prepared by Bayaroğulları Law Office in its capacity as data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").
Personal Data Processed
When you contact our office or receive legal services, the following personal data may be processed:
- Identity information (name, surname)
- Contact information (email address, phone number)
- The content of requests and messages you send via the contact form or email
- Where required by the legal service, information relating to the file and the matter in dispute
- Technical data relating to website use (IP address, cookie data)
Purposes of Processing
- Providing legal counsel and attorney services
- Responding to your contact requests and questions
- Fulfilling contractual and legal obligations
- Conducting legal processes and litigation
- Operating the website and improving service quality
Legal Basis for Processing
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, including that processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, is required to fulfil a legal obligation, and your explicit consent.
Transfer of Personal Data
Save for legal requirements and the necessities of the legal profession, your personal data may be transferred only to the relevant judicial authorities, public institutions and legally authorised persons, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Your data is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected through channels such as the website contact form, email, telephone and in-person meetings, by automated and non-automated means.
Retention Period
Messages and contact information you send via the website contact form are stored for a maximum of 180 days for the purpose of assessing your request, and are automatically deleted from the system at the end of this period. If an attorney engagement is established between us, data relating to your file is retained in accordance with the retention periods set out in the Attorneys Act and relevant legislation.
Your Rights Under the KVKK
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information if it has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- To know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad
- To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
- To request its deletion or destruction within the conditions set out in the KVKK
- To object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis
- To claim compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful processing
